Be part of creating the first farm featuring a collection of Canarian fig varieties on La Gomera!
The estate focuses on the cultivation and conservation of Canarian fig varieties, their traditional and modern processing, and the sharing of knowledge with tourists and locals. Visitors will be able to taste and learn to appreciate this impressive range of products. We need to experiment with fig trees to combat desertification, preserve the terraced fields, tackle the risk of wildfires and promote sustainable tourism, creating a place for learning, inspiration and connection. We want to boost agriculture on La Gomera with new ideas for production, processing and marketing, as well as solutions for efficient irrigation, agroecology and regenerative agriculture.

What is the Gomera Rural Life Experience?
It’s an opportunity to experience rural life on La Gomera in an authentic and first-hand way. Gomera Rural Life Experience is an active experience – you are the one who creates, does and experiences something special. I only work with small groups, always responding individually to the participants’ needs. We work with – and not against – nature, and with – and not against – people. We place great importance on mindful communication and the conscious use of resources.
